Old Lake Pike Kitchen
Gutted this kitchen, removed the drop ceiling, and removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room, thus opening up the space significantly! We removed the old aluminum window and installed a new Jeld-Wen wood insulated slider window above the kitchen sink. We removed the mirror on the wall adjacent to the dining room table and installed a new base/serving cabinet with open shelving above it. We relocated the pantry to a closet built off the dining room area, installed new gas line for the new gas range, which was moved to the center of the kitchen, installed new vent-a-hood and vented it to the exterior. Installed new Kohler Strive Collection Smart Divide stainless steel under-mount apron front sink, and new Riley High Arc kitchen sink with pulldown. Installed new 4″ LED recessed lighting around the perimeter of the kitchen and above the base cabinet in the dining room/island area. Installed new 6″ LED recessed lighting in the center of the kitchen. Installed new LED tape under-cabinet lighting and new pendant lighting above the island cabinet. Installed new Lutron Maestro switches to control the recess lights. Installed all new rocker style switches/receptacles and decorative plates in the kitchen/dining room. Installed new laminate flooring. Finished the kitchen ceiling smooth, and painted the walls, ceiling, and trim with Sherwin-Williams products. Installed new Crescent City 5″ x 10 backsplash tile. Installed new custom Alder wood cabinets stained Onyx finish. Cabinets have pull outs in the base cabinets with soft close hardware, Shaker style doors and drawer fronts with dovetailed construction, soft close drawer glides and hidden soft close hinges. Wood lazy susan cabinet in the corner. Installed Cambria Swanbridge Quartz countertops. Installed new J. Alexander cabinet hardware, new Kitchen Aid appliances, Thermador natural gas cooktop, and new HVAC registers.
