About This Project

Remodeled this master bathroom! Removed all the sheetrock from the walls, and added insulation! Removed the knee wall from the end of the vanity. Scraped the ceilings and installed new 1/2″ sheetrock. Removed the carpet and existing tile. Installed Milestone 8″ x 48″ Mood Wood porcelain tile to the floor of the bathroom and closets! Applied Bostik Flash Walnut Vivid grout to the floor. Added (4) 4″ LED recess lights in the ceiling of the bathroom, 6″ LED recess lights in the closets, a chandelier over the tub, (3) vanity lights, and LED recess light/fans over the shower and toilet and vented them thru the roof. Installed new Lutron Maestro switches to control the recess lights in the ceiling and chandelier, stack switches to control the light/fans, and rocker style switches to control the vanity lights and closet lights. Installed new receptacles and plates. Converted the single sink vanity to a double sink vanity with a small make-up desk! Installed new custom wood double vanity with make-up desk with raised panel doors and drawers, hidden hinges, and soft-close under-mount drawer guides. Full overlay style cabinet, painted SW Alabaster with a satin finish & matching framed mirrors. Installed Top Knobs cabinet hardware. Installed new Pex water lines for all the plumbing fixtures, new plumbing drain for the added vanity sink. Installed new p-traps and plumbing pipe for tub, shower, and vanity sinks. Installed Durock to the walls of the shower and around the tub. Applied Laticrete hydro-ban waterproofing membrane and fiberglass tape to all the seams in the Durock. Installed American Olean Silver Velagio 12″ x 24″ porcelain tile in a 70/30 pattern to the shower and tub surround with Milestone Mood Wood Brown Herringbone Accent tile, Anatolia Bliss Vitality Mica Flat Pebbles Mosaic for the shower floor, and applied Bostik Mobe Pearl True Color epoxy grout. Installed Prestige 2CM Stargaze quartz to the vanity, shower seat, knee-wall cap, and under-mount tub deck. Installed Mirabelle 18″ x 12″ rectangular under-mount porcelain white sinks, and Delta Cassidy Collection 8″ spread vanity faucets with lever handles in stainless finish. Installed Mirabelle Sitka 72″ x 36″ acrylic tub in white with Delta Cassidy Collection tub filler with a hand-held shower head in stainless finish. In the shower we installed a bench seat, two recesses/niches in the knee wall, and two Delta grab bars. Installed Delta Cassidy Collection thermostatic valve and trim with 3 position diverter valve and trim, and hand-held shower mounted on a hook by the bench seat. Installed a new two pieces Mirabelle toilet with bidet seat and remote control mounted on the wall. Installed new Cassidy Collection accessories in Stainless finish. Installed new baseboard, shoe molding, and crown molding. , Painted the walls of the bathroom with Sherwin-Williams Agreeable Gray with an eggshell finish, trim/doors with Sherwin-Williams Pro Classic Alabaster with a semi-gloss finish. Installed new door hinges and hardware with brushed nickel finish. Installed new frameless glass panels and door with brushed nickel finish! Love the results!!!!
